​Gretchen Corp Jones, JD

​Chief Development Officer

Gretchen Corp Jones joined Hospice of the Western Reserve as the Chief Development Officer in December of 2015. In that role, Jones oversees all fundraising efforts and leads the Development Team in fostering a funding program to support the organization's mission and long-term goals.

Gretchen has more than 30 years of experience with estate planning, taxation, planned giving and fundraising.  Upon graduation from Law School, Gretchen worked as an estate planning and tax attorney, eventually starting her own law firm, dedicated to estate planning and wealth transfer. This area of expertise lead to a 20-year career in the not-for-profit world, first as a planned giving officer at Case Western Reserve University and eventually, as the Director of Principal Gifts at Akron Children's Hospital.  

She earned a BA degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University.

Gretchen is the mother of three grown children. She was the founder, and then the Commissioner of, the Lake Erie Basketball League and has been active with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and currently is a board member for the Cleveland International Film Festival.
