Michele Seyranian

Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer

Michele A. Seyranian was appointed Business Development Officer for Hospice of the Western Reserve, in November, 2012. In July, 2014, she added the duties of Chief Marketing Officer.

Seyranian is responsible for planning and implementing marketing and business development activities as well as programs that support the non-profit agency’s mission and long-term goals. Her duties include building and fostering strategic relationships with healthcare partners and community organizations to promote growth, and advancing Hospice of the Western Reserve’s array of patient and family services. She has been instrumental in launching an innovative, advanced, chronic disease management program currently in pilot phase with a major Ohio insurance company.

Prior to joining Hospice of the Western Reserve, Seyranian served as Executive Vice President – Strategic Planning for Key Corp. She has held leadership positions in marketing and sales management with Citibank, American Express and Procter & Gamble. She has extensive non-profit and volunteer experience, and currently serves on the boards of The Gathering Place, the Northeast Shores Development Corporation and the Armenian Bone Marrow Donor Registry. She is a member of the AgeNet, the Council on Older Persons and the HIP-c Chronic Disease Management Committee.

Seyranian’s responsibilities also include oversight of the agency’s strategic marketing plan to increase awareness of hospice services and to expand the Hospice of Western Reserve brand.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University, where she was an adjunct professor for five years and a BS in Marketing from Niagara University.
