Hospice of the Western Reserve is dedicated to meeting the educational needs of staff ensuring the highest quality of care and complete satisfaction to its clients. This education is delivered by The Education Team and The Computer Education Team, an integrated team and part of The Hospice Institute.


The Education Teams’ responsibilities include delivering education to all staff as well as supporting programs dedicated to educating patients, family members and care-givers. The End-of-Life Library is also available for resource information. This education includes, and is not limited to, HWR Compass Culture, orientation, service excellence, staff development, team development, disease process, care specific strategies, transdisciplinary practices, quality improvement, and regulatory requirements.

Speak with the referral team by contacting us seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any first visit and admission can be made the first day.
