Katie Dolesh Collection​

institute-dolesh.jpgKatie Dolesh was Executive Director of Make-A-Wish Foundation, Northeastern Ohio Chapter, and a hospice patient. In her memory, family and friends provide support that makes materials available for loved ones of all ages. In the quest to continually raise awareness about hospice and palliative care, books and other resources are provided as part of the Katie Dolesh Family Reference Collection.


The Katie Dolesh Family Reference Collection provides more than 200 print titles covering a wide range of topics relating to hospice, palliative care and end-of-life issues. The goal of the collection is to raise awareness and foster education about the benefits of hospice and palliative care and to provide helpful resources relating to trauma, grief support and end-of-life issues for professionals and families in our community.

The Katie Dolesh Family Reference Collection includes materials on subjects such as loss of parent, loss of parent as adults, loss of grandparents, still birth and miscarriage, violence and trauma and teens and grief.
