Nicole Barringer

Nicole Barringer joined Hospice of the Western Reserve as Vice President of Human Resources in November 2020. She oversees all aspects of HR strategy, including talent management, employee engagement, leadership development, compensation, benefits and leading all Human Capital Management functions. As a member of the Leadership Team, Barringer focuses on building a culture that attracts, retains and develops our most valuable resource: our people.
 
Prior to joining the agency, she held leadership positions in the Retail, Manufacturing and Non-Profit sectors via the Limited Brands, General Motors and Volunteers of America.
 
Barringer graduated from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a J.D. in Employment Law and Labor Relations Rules and earned an MBA from Franklin University with a specialization in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development and Change Management. She holds certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-CP) and is an ordained Minister.
 
Barringer is actively involved in mentoring and coaching foster care adolescents and young adults in the community who are interested in pursuing successful careers in Human Resources.
