Jefferson Family “Adopts” Hospice Family


Each year, the Wish List Fund fills an urgent need, allowing Hospice of the Western Reserve to provide  hospice families who have extra needs this time of year with resources they would not otherwise have access to. Unfortunately, this year, economic pressures caused by the COVID-19 pandemic meant that many long-time company sponsors were unable to help. When Jefferson resident Cheryl Hunt learned of the need, she stepped in and offered to “adopt” a hospice family with several school-aged children.

Wish List Fund: Our Patients and Families Need You


Our Wish List Fund fills an urgent need in our community by supporting hospice families with resources they may not have access to otherwise. Through the Wish List Fund, community members, companies and organizations make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their loved ones through donations.

Our goal - even during these challenging times - is to continue making each day matter for our patients, including those who have or are children. The holidays mean so much to all of us, a time to remember the spirit of the season and to celebrate together - even virtually. Creating a memorable holiday experience means even more to patients in our care. These memories are a final gift – a lasting legacy that may bring moments of joy and comfort to the entire family.
