Celebrating 40 Years of Compassionate Care


​Forty years ago, a small group of grassroots visionaries saw an unmet need in our community and filled it. They marshaled their passion and their resources, and with the support of like-minded friends, they established Cancer Family Service, Inc. This was the forerunner of what would eventually become Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Hospice of the Western Reserve and South Africa’s Helderberg Hospice Earn 2018 Global Partnership Award


​Global Partners in Care has announced that its partners, Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio, and Helderberg Hospice in Somerset West, South Africa, are the recipients of the 2018 Global Partnership Award. The award will be presented during the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization’s annual Leadership and Advocacy Conference on April 15.
