But what about our pets?  When another pet or a person in the home dies, do the other animals feel grief? If they do, how can we tell?  What, if anything, can we do to comfort them?

May 26 Veterans Honor Run in Avon Lake to Benefit Valor Home and Nine Line Foundation

​Join us in Avon Lake on Sunday, May 26, for the 7th annual Veterans Honor Run presented by Hospice of the Western Reserve. Participants and their families and friends are invited to wear their best red, white, and blue to show their support! This year’ s event benefits Valor Home in Lorain and the Nine Line Foundation. Valor Home is a transitional housing program for homeless male veterans. The Nine Line Foundation is a national charity dedicated to meeting the financial and specialized needs of severely injured soldiers and their families.
