One of Medina's most eagerly anticipated holiday shopping destinations, Christmas Treasures, 1104 N. Court St., is open through Dec. 15 with holiday bargains galore! The festive store is an annual holiday tradition for many families, with shoppers driving in from all over the region to find "all things Christmas" at bargain process. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed on Sundays).

Best of all, every purchase made at Christmas Treasures benefits a wonderful cause. The seasonal shop is operated by staff and volunteers from Hospice of Medina County, an affiliate of Hospice of the Western Reserve. All proceeds stay in Medina County benefiting programs for hospice patients and families living the local community.

The shop is a visual delight, with all the items anyone would need to convert their home into Christmas Central at a fraction of the full retail price. Shoppers enjoy browsing through dozens of lifelike trees, wreaths and centerpieces and thousands of ornaments in dozens of styles. There are collectible Santas and snowmen, lights, holiday books, stocking stuffers, CDs and clothing, Christmas china, holiday mugs, garlands, swags, bows, cookie tins, pillows… even holiday-themed bowls for the family pet!

It's worth re-visiting the store a few different times during the holiday season to discover new treasures. The store has a back room full of surplus items to refresh the store. Donations continue to come in as the season progresses, so there's always something new.
