William E. Finn joined Hospice of the Western Reserve as CEO in February 2011. Before coming to Cleveland, Bill was President and CEO of The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care (CHPC) in Buffalo, New York. He began working in hospice and palliative care in 1983 and has more than three decades of experience. Bill has leadership roles in state and national end-of-life care organizations. He is on the Executive Committee of the National Partnership for Hospice Innovation, a think tank for national innovation leadership in hospice and palliative care. Having experience as board chair of the National Hospice Work Group, Bill now sits on the executive committee of the Leading Age Ohio and the Hospice Alliance of Ohio boards. He was twice chair of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State and served on the Board of Trustees for 21 years. As a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Bill has presented at the state and national levels on hospice and healthcare issues, is published in healthcare journals, and has consulted across the country. Bill received his Master of Business Administration degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and has a certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Administration.
