For over 45 years, Hospice of the Western Reserve has been a leader of end-of-life care and provides comprehensive hospice and palliative care, caregiver support, and bereavement services across 16 counties in Northern Ohio. Throughout these years, we have served over 100,000 patients and their loved ones.

The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® is the highest award an organization can receive. It is considered the gold standard in the healthcare industry. To receive the accreditation/certification, organizations must undergo a rigorous evaluation process.

Hospice of the Western Reserve collaborates with various healthcare providers, hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community organizations to enhance care throughout the area. Notable partnerships include Care Solutions Network of Ohio, National Partnership for Hospice Innovation, Hospice Alliance of Ohio, and locally our Joint Venture with University Hospitals.
