Chief Clinical Officer
Judy Bartel, MSN, ACHPN, CHPCA, FPCN, is the Chief Clinical Officer for Hospice of the Western Reserve. As Hospice of the Western Reserve’s primary clinical leader, Judy administers, directs, and coordinates activities related to all clinical services and operations. She is accountable for more than 760 clinical team employees in home care, alternative home care, referral assessment and liaison, on-call, the Bereavement Center, inpatient units, palliative care, the Navigator program, an advanced illness program, pediatrics, pharmacy, and dietary. Judy ensures that practices and activities are appropriately integrated into the organization’s strategic plan and facilitates the provision of ideal patient care and services. Employed at Hospice of the Western Reserve for over 20 years, Judy has been in a variety of roles including, staff nurse, marketing, and Director of Clinical Programs. Judy holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and is a Certified Advanced Practice Nurse. She is board-certified in Palliative Care Management/Administration and has been awarded the distinguished title of Fellow in Palliative Care Nursing.
