Hospice of the Western Reserve Hosts 14th annual Walk to Remember at Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
CLEVELAND, OH — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – MAY 20, 2024 – Hospice of the Western Reserve is thrilled to announce the 14th annual Walk to Remember, taking place on Sunday, June 9, 2024 at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. This longstanding event brings together families, friends and the community to honor the memories of loved ones and support compassionate end-of-life care.
The Walk to Remember offers participants a chance to stroll through the scenic paths of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, connect with others who understand the journey of loss and raise funds to help support services that Medicare/Medicaid does not cover including bereavement support, pediatric care and veterans programs.
President and CEO of Hospice of the Western Reserve, Bill Finn, expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating, "The Walk to Remember is a powerful expression of love, remembrance and community support. It's a day filled with hope and healing as we come together to honor the lives of those we hold dear. We invite our community to join us for this meaningful event and help make a difference in the lives of others."
Registration for the Walk to Remember is open now. Participants can sign up individually, form a team, or make a donation to support Hospice of the Western Reserve's mission of compassionate and comprehensive care.
