As National Volunteer Month concluded in April, Stein Hospice, an affiliate of Hospice of the Western Reserve, was privileged to host a celebratory Volunteer Support Gathering Luncheon at Admiral’s Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. Sponsored by Admiral’s Pointe, the event honored volunteers
with a luncheon, a commemorative pin inscribed with “I Give Time, I Give Hope, I Give Support, I GET INVOLVED...I’m a Volunteer,” and a certificate acknowledging their dedication to our patients and families within the communities we serve.
Emily Szillat, the Stein Hospice Music Therapist, captivated everyone with her magical musical performances. Guitar in hand, she serenaded the audience during the prelude and as the volunteers made their exit. Her performance of Natalie Merchant's "Kind and Generous" was particularly memorable and the volunteers loved it.
Heartfelt thanks are extended to Jamie McGinty and Heather Spencer of Admiral’s Pointe for their invaluable support in ensuring the event's success,
and to Katherine Snode, Stein Hospice Provider Relations Manager, for her collaboration with Admiral's Pointe.
Thank you to the incredible volunteers who support Stein Hospice's mission each and every day.
