Do you need Hospice Care?
Hospice care is a specialized type of care focused on providing comfort, support and dignity to individuals facing the end-of-life journey. The primary purpose is to ensure patients are comfortable and able to live their last days as fully as possible.
How is Hospice paid for?
Hospice of the Western Reserve is a Medicare/Medicaid certified hospice program, offering a comprehensive hospice benefit. Hospice care services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, most commercial insurances and privately by the patient/family and most of our patients are Medicare/Medicaid eligible.

Caregiver Support
We provide respite care within our hospice houses to offer temporary relief and support for caregivers. This allows caregivers a short-term break while ensuring their loved ones receive comprehensive care in a comfortable environment.

If the person you love and are caring for is seriously ill, you may have to learn new skills. You may find yourself with tasks you never imagined having to do and that you know nothing about. To help you feel more comfortable in your role as caregiver, we have developed a series of instructional videos that can answer questions as they come up. Our team will be there to explain, and demonstrate, caregiving techniques.
